Chronic stress can contribute to increased levels of anxiety, but what you eat may also be having an effect. A busy and stressful lifestyle can seem to make it harder to follow a healthy diet, this then allows nutrition deficiencies to build up over time which can negatively affect moods. A little stress is helpful to motivate us into action, constant stress will over time strain the adrenal glands leading to health problems. Do not suffer in silence any longer my lovely.

It is important to have the right vitamins and minerals to ensure adequate supply to support your nervous system and mental health, therefore reducing stress and anxiety. Reducing stimulants, such as tea, coffee, alcohol and sugar can also be a key factor to addressing increased levels of anxiety. Other contributing factor could be food intolerances, sensitivity to food additives or high blood sugar fluctuations caused by a diet based on refined foods or infrequent meals. I will work with you to get to the root cause of your anxiety issues.

I will then design a step-by-step personalised eating plan to improve your nutrition and address any imbalances to support you towards health and wellbeing. I will also give you lifestyle advice about adopting stress reducing techniques to help you in life situations that seem out of your control. I will not make you count calories but I also don’t promise a magic pill. I do promise you support that is soul led, individualised and encouraging. My style is fun, holistic and comes from the heart as I know what it feels like to be down a rabbit hole of guilt, stress and overwhelm.
